Caitlin Machell – Law Clerk
Caitlin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Texas at Austin and is currently a third-year student at UT Law. She is broadly interested in social justice lawyering, with a primary focus on disability rights. She has worked at UT’s Civil Rights Clinic, Disability Rights Texas, and the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law. She is also the co-president of the Public Interest Law Association and a staff editor for the Texas Journal of Civil Liberties and Civil Rights. Caitlin was selected to the UT Law Chancellor Class of 2019, which is comprised of the 18 students with the highest GPAs in the graduating class.
